Window Tint
Residential window tint.
Keep the view, lose the heat. 3M residential films for estate, waterfront and Gulf-front homes.
Designed for homes built around glass
Luxury homes in Southwest Florida are designed to open to the outdoors: sliding glass walls to the lanai, two-story great rooms, and primary suites facing the water. Residential window film helps those spaces stay comfortable throughout the day, reduces glare on screens and reading areas, and helps protect floors, art and furnishings from UV.
Films that respect the architecture
For many homeowners, the most important quality is that the glass still looks like glass. Low-reflectivity films such as 3M Prestige are designed for strong performance with minimal change to appearance. Night Vision films offer a softer interior tone and reduce night-time mirroring. Ceramic films balance clarity and infrared control. Our guide to 3M film types explains the differences.
Rooms we treat most often
- West-facing great rooms and kitchens with afternoon sun.
- Primary suites where morning or evening glare disrupts rest.
- Media rooms and offices where screen glare matters.
- Rooms with valuable furnishings, rugs and art.
- Seasonal homes that are closed for months at a time.
White-glove installation
Installations are scheduled by appointment and handled discreetly. Floors and furnishings are protected, each pane is meticulously cleaned, and film is trimmed precisely to the edge. Film cures over time, and we leave written care instructions.
Associations and approvals
In communities with associations, we provide product specifications and samples for approval. See HOA and window film considerations.
FAQ
Questions
How long does residential window film take to install?
Most homes are completed in one to two days depending on the number and size of windows. We give a clear timeline with your proposal.
Will film make my home darker?
Not necessarily. Many modern films are light and still reduce heat and UV. We show samples so you can choose the balance.
How do I clean filmed windows?
Use a soft cloth or squeegee with a mild, non-abrasive solution. Avoid blades and abrasive pads on the film side.
